rkm Browning wz. 1928 - Polish automatic rifle f rom the interwar period, based upon 1918 Browning rifle. After re gaining independence in 1918, the Polish Army possessed multiple types of light and machine guns. Both guns were captured in Army warehouses invaders, and bought or received as part of military assistance. Some of the models were outdated, and the variety of structures impede training. In 1923, a contest for a new rkm, but it ended without determining the winner.
